Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR), a practice serving Southern Illinois for over 40 years, is seeking a Full-Time Remote Emergency | General Radiologist. This role involves reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will support SVDR's growing practice across 10 Illinois hospitals and numerous affiliated clinics and express care centers.
Practice Info
- SVDR operates with an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE = Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact.
- The clinical team is an extension of our Radiologists, which helps in reducing day-to-day administrative minutiae.
- SVDR continually reviews and improves their radiology service through new clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Capable of reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging
- Maintain a desire to work in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians
- Capable of reading various diagnostic modalities
- No Mammography or PET CTs required
Compensation

- The salary range for this position is $500,000-$525,000
- This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
- Remote M-F
- Shift: 10a - 6p or 11a - 7p CST (Flexible)
- 215 Shifts annually
- No Call
- No Weekends
Requirements
- Fellowship experience in Emergency Radiology, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology or Musculoskeletal Radiology is a plus, but not required
- Experience in ER is preferred
- Board certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training in any subspecialty is preferred, but not required
- Ability to obtain an Illinois and Missouri license is required
