Key responsibilities Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and compliance with coding standards Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper reimbursement Conduct audits and provide feedback to improve coding practices and reduce denials Required qualifications Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification Experience in DRG auditing and coding within a healthcare setting Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
