THE OPPORTUNITY

Value Machinery Company is looking for a motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will help transform business information into clear reports and useful insights that support everyday operations and decision-making.

This position is suitable for both experienced professionals and qualified candidates looking to establish themselves in a remote data analytics career.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

You will be responsible for:

DATA & REPORTING

Collecting, organizing, and analyzing business information
Preparing recurring and ad-hoc reports
Maintaining spreadsheets and databases
Checking data accuracy and resolving inconsistencies

ANALYSIS

Identifying trends, patterns, and performance indicators
Supporting business forecasting and planning
Creating data summaries, charts, and dashboards
Providing analytical information to management

TEAM SUPPORT

Working with different departments on reporting requirements
Assisting with research and data validation
Maintaining accurate electronic records
Supporting special projects and process-improvement initiatives
WHAT YOU BRING

We're looking for someone who has:

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organizational and time-management abilities
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Good written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Reliable computer and internet access

Preferred: Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or other data-analysis tools.

A degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant skills or experience.
