About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, turning complex datasets into clear insights, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
Use Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools for analysis and reporting.
Work with stakeholders to define reporting and analytical requirements.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports.
Identify data-quality issues and recommend improvements.
Present analytical findings and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong SQL skills.
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
