You will be part of a team of enrollment specialists all working toward one goal: reducing financial hardship for patients.
This position requires outstanding teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Final offers will be extended within a 30–120 day window based on business needs; selected candidates will receive a Letter of Intent during this process.
Once an offer is extended, this is a contract-to-hire position. During the contract period, you will work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. The timing for conversion to full-time employment may vary and will be determined based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit.What You Will Do:Screen all patients on active treatment for eligibility for enrollment into patient support programs offered by life science companies and charitable foundations using reports and task lists via the AssistPoint® software platformVerify patients' insurance benefits, as neededComplete financial cost estimates, as neededObtain prior authorizations, as neededReview patients' financial capabilities if not covered by insuranceEnroll patients into programs with proper documentation via PDF or digital portalCommunicate directly with on-site client staff to collect signatures on paperwork and prescriptions to submit to the patient assistance programsReview and ensure all patients for both medical and pharmacy services have been assessed and enrolled for assistanceEnsure proper workflow by directly working with your Account LeadProvide timely solutions to clients' problems, build sustainable and continuous relationships with clients, show initiative and drive when dealing with client requestsResearch and resolve any outstanding concerns raised by clientsRespect the dignity and confidentiality of patientsAssist with training and orientation of new employees as assignedPerform other duties as assignedAbout You:Proficient in payer billing and requirements; experience working with life science and charitable foundation patient support programs desiredProven experience in healthcare billingExperience in oncology, specialty practice desiredProficient in all Microsoft Office applicationsGreat attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well with others in a team environmentAbility to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and administrative skillsAbility/desire to thrive in a service-oriented cultureQuick and deep learnerDriven to make a differenceLove to have fun!Annexus Health is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment.
