Community Outreach Specialists help The Law Context connect with the communities we serve and potential donors. Volunteers in this role build relationships with local organizations, schools, libraries, and community groups while helping spread awareness of our mission. Responsibilities may include reaching out to potential partners, assisting with future educational events and workshops, distributing informational materials in your area, and identifying new opportunities to expand our impact.
We're looking for strong communicators who are organized, dependable, and passionate about civic education in high school or undergraduate studies. No prior experience is required. You will need proof of identity (a school ID or State-issued ID), though you may cover sensitive information, such as ID number and address. We only need your name, photo, and DOB. You also need a valid, regularly checked, professional email address. Having a working phone number is optional, but preferred. If under 18, please submit the email address of a parent or guardian for verification that you got permission for this role.
This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity. All volunteers must reside full-time in Maine.
