Remote Coding Training Specialist

To enhance departmental effectiveness, the full-time Remote Coding Training Specialist will lead new hire onboarding, provide ongoing training and quality assurance, and serve as a subject matter expert on coding guidelines and client requirements. Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end onboarding processes for new coders and auditors, ensuring comprehensive training and quality assurance Serve as the primary resource for the coding team by addressing complex coding questions and managing quality assurance issues Develop and maintain a centralized library of training materials while identifying and addressing knowledge gaps through targeted training initiatives Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 5 years of production coding experience in a risk adjustment environment Current core coding credential (e.g., CPC, CRC, CCS, CCS-P), with CRC preferred Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, coding guidelines, and risk adjustment models Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and coding platforms
