To oversee daily operations of the hospital coding team, the full-time Remote Coding Supervisor will manage team performance, promote compliant coding practices, and develop staff goals while working remotely from the Eastern Standard Time Zone. Key responsibilities Supervise and manage the performance of the inpatient or outpatient coding team Promote accurate and efficient coding practices that align with organizational goals Identify process improvements and assist in developing action plans for the team Required qualifications Associate degree in health information management or a related field Proficiency in hospital inpatient coding with ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS At least 1 year of inpatient or outpatient coding experience Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CCS, or CPC Residency in the Eastern Standard Time Zone
