Ensuring the accuracy and quality of coding practices, the full-time Remote Coding Quality Reviewer Educator will conduct reviews of clinical documentation and coding processes while educating staff on best practices and updates in coding guidelines. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough reviews of clinical documentation and coding to ensure compliance with national standards and regulatory guidelines Educate and train coding staff on best practices and updates to enhance coding performance and revenue cycle efficiency Ensure the integrity and quality of coding practices within the Health Information Management department Required qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in coding, with 6-10 years preferred Proficiency in coding inpatient accounts, ICD-10, PCS coding, and/or complex outpatient coding Previous clinical experience in Nursing is a plus High School diploma or GED required; Technical/Vocational School preferred One or more relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, or CCVTC required
