Key responsibilities Collaborate with Pharmacy Technicians and Nurses to process authorization requests and answer clinical questions Review cases based on established health plan criteria and service-level agreements Coordinate timely communication of authorization decisions to various stakeholders, including physicians and patients Required qualifications Active pharmacist license in the state of residence, in good standing Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist 2+ years of clinical experience with specialty medications or clinical review of prior authorization requests
