Azure Cloud Solutions ArchitectThe Azure cloud solutions architect role is part of the security architecture team focused on protecting automation systems (i.e. ICS/PCN assets) across bp. This role will work across the entire Productions and Operational (P&O) portfolio to deliver security architectures and specific security significant designs for our projects and products.
This will include the creation of reference architectures needed to guide multiple initiatives and to drive standardization.P&O is the heart of our company and covers areas like Wells, Refining, Subsurface & production. This is an exciting fast-moving space at the heart of bp.You will own and develop end to end solution architectures for projects which has high security requirements.You will work with teams across Production and Operations (P&O) to deliver security consultancy and/or designs for other projects/products.You will work with the digital P&O organization to educate digital delivery teams on security practices and have these built into the way that solutions are designed and implemented.Preferred Experience:Experience in the design and implementation of complex IT solutions, including scalable and secure Microsoft Azure cloud-based solutions and hybrid infrastructuresExperience with automation tools/scripting, and good understanding of DevOps principlesStrong knowledge in Information securityExcellent communication skillsMust be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Required Skills:Experience in the design and implementation of complex IT solutions, including scalable and secure Microsoft Azure cloud-based solutions and hybrid infrastructuresExperience with automation tools/scripting, and good understanding of DevOps principlesStrong knowledge in Information securityExcellent communication skillsMust be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
