Relief LVN
To provide direct health services to meet the needs of students and staff across assigned campus(es) and will follow the district school health program under the clinical supervision of the Health Services Coordinator in a manner best suited to the campus population. Will work according to a schedule assigned by the Health Services Coordinator, who will determine placement and coverage based on the needs of the district and/or individual campuses.
Education/Certifications:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse with valid Texas license
- CPR certification
- Vision, Hearing, and Spinal Screening certification (preferred)
Experience:
- Two years' experience Community Health and/or pediatric nursing (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of the nursing process
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of school law relating to health services and special education
- Familiarity with computers
