The candidate will manage and participate in various Reliability and Maintainability engineering efforts for our NAVAIR and commercial customers.Responsibilities:Review Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Program Plans and requirements for aircraftEvaluate and perform R&M analyses, predictions, allocations, and calculate R&M metricsAttend and support Reliability Control Board (RCB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetingsDetermine key R&M metrics, identify problem areas, and assist in reviewing Engineering Change Proposals for R&M considerationsSupport reliability development growth testing (reliability qualification tests, HALT, and reliability growth testing)Support IHMS/BIT design/development and integration processAssist with developing IHMS/BIT integration and M-demo test plansCollect R&M data from and populate FRACAS databasesGenerate various reports outlining findings and recommendationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, aeronautics, or electronics4+ years of experience as an R&M Engineer or relevant R&M experienceExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficient with Microsoft 365 applications to include Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to travel on a limited basis (< 25%)Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge in areas such as R&M modeling, risk/criticality assessment, FMEA, RCA, FRACAS, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and other statistical methodsKnowledgeable in IVHMS/BIT and Reliability Development Growth TestingUnderstanding of early acquisition cycle (Milestone B through Milestone C)At ASI, we understand that everyone's journey is different.
