Onsite Contract Engineering

We're working with an International Chemical Company that is looking for a Reliability Engineer to cover two of their US sites. This company is seeing strong customer demand and expanding sites to meet this so they need to ensure their reliability program is as effective as possible.

In this role you will be responsible for developing, owning, and optimizing their PdM and MI programs. They have Mechanical Engineers at the sites that deal with most daily requirements, but be prepared for field work, including testing and troubleshooting.

You'll run the PdM program, so expect to cover vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasonic, and oil analysis. You'll track rotating equipment condition and use RCA to build your PdM strategy. You'll also lead the Bad Actor Program, with analysis of equipment histories and maintenance costs, to drive PdM improvements. Your reliability program will be critical for new equipment projects, helping set up equipment criticality and asset strategies in the CMMS.

Alongside PdM, you'll cover the MI program and work with maintenance leaders at both sites to keep compliance on track, including corporate risk insurance and audits. You'll assess MI reports and Fitness for Service findings, maintain the equipment asset replacement plans, and oversee third party MI inspection contractors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Engineering, MechE preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, 5-15 years being ideal.
  • Experience on PSM regulated chemical/refining site, EPC experience will be considered but must have extensive time on site.
  • Reliability certifications (Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, IR/Ultrasound Analysis, etc) preferred
  • Relocation assistance is available.

Must be able to work without sponsorship/assistance i.e. Green Card / US Citizen.
