Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reliability analyses (MTBF, Lambda Predictions, Weibull, FMEA) and develop comprehensive test plans for functionality, performance, and lifespan.
  • Analyze test data, generate reports, and recommend design improvements to enhance product reliability and performance.
  • Lead execution of V&V test plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams and lab resources.
  • Mentor lab engineers and technicians in developing advanced electro-mechanical test systems.
  • Create automation and data acquisition programs using LabView, Python, or similar tools.
  • Estimate test resource needs and collaborate across divisions to implement best testing practices.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field with 5+ years of experience, or M.S. with 3+ years.
  • Proven background supporting NPI programs and fast-paced, cross-functional projects.
  • Skilled in LabView, Python, and reliability modeling tools (e.g., Reliasoft).
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis (DOE, hypothesis testing, data reduction).
  • Familiarity with SEMI, UL, CE, and PED standards a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with measurement devices (power supplies, multimeters, flowmeters, thermocouples, pressure transducers).
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills; experience with ultra-high vacuum and cryogenic systems preferred.
