- Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, control loops, and safety/security systems
- Define, develop, administer, and refine the preventive/predictive maintenance program
- Reduce and improve maintenance work to ensure efficient and productive operation of plant, process, and equipment
- Protect and prolong the economic life of plant assets at the least optimal cost practical
- Provide technical advice to maintenance and proprietors
- Relieve maintenance supervisors and planner/schedulers of engineering-related responsibilities
- Address day-to-day problems of the maintenance organization
Requirements
- 5+ years in manufacturing as a reliability engineer
- Experience managing capital project life cycles
- Experience in plant electrical projects, equipment installation, and hand-off to operations
- Collaborative experience in cross-functional teams
- Preferred experience in extrusion, casting, fabrication, and mill-grade equipment
