The Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting and advancing reliability and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs across assigned regions. This role focuses on program execution, data analysis, coaching, auditing, and hands-on support of site maintenance and operations teams. The position serves as a technical reliability leader, bridging corporate standards and site-level execution.
What You'll Do
- Support and improve CBM programs using vibration, oil analysis, ultrasound, thermography, UT, and wireless monitoring .
- Analyze condition data, identify trends, and turn findings into clear maintenance and repair recommendations .
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and follow up on repairs to confirm they were effective.
- Audit CBM routes, PMs, lubrication programs, documentation, and reliability practices.
- Partner with Maintenance and Operations teams to improve reliability and close out findings.
- Train and coach site technicians and leadership on reliability best practices.
- Support vendors, contractors, MOC activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel to regional sites monthly to provide hands-on reliability support.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4–7 years of maintenance/reliability experience in heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing.
- Strong experience with CBM, vibration and oil analysis, RCA, and FMEA .
- ISO Vibration Analyst Category II certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems.
Preferred
- CMRP
- Ultrasound Level I
- Thermography certification
Travel:
Monthly regional travel is a core part of the role.
