We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Reliability Engineer to lead the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across all our manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for training teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and optimizing equipment performance to maximize production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, teach, and coach teams on TPM, RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), and Continuous Improvement (CI) principles.
- Partner with plant leadership and operations/maintenance teams to deploy TPM and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and collaborate with technical writers to develop TPM and RCM documentation.
- Oversee the implementation of the Total Performance System, focusing on CI culture, value stream flow, and visual factory principles.
- Develop and track TPM/RCM master and pillar phase plans, resolving issues and ensuring progress.
- Conduct quarterly TPM audits to measure progress towards goals.
- Run projects from ideation to completion, supporting the strategic plan for TPM/RCM program sustainability.
- Analyze production line data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations to establish production line operating metrics and monitoring systems.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
- Proven experience with TPM principles, ideally in at least one pillar (Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, or Early Management).
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage change, develop personnel, and plan for continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of processing and packing equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Travel required (75% during implementation phase, 25% ongoing).
- Ability to walk, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
