Onsite Full Time Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) as specified as required by the project.
  • Coordinate and/or perform predictive Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for all significant failures in the project.
  • Use downtime analysis in the development of identifying gaps where engineering solutions to repetitive equipment failures and other equipment problems can be used.
  • The Reliability Engineer will coordinate the development, implementation and review the asset care strategy for each critical asset as per the project requirements.
  • Interact with operators, crafts, planners, schedulers, associate leaders and engineers on a regular basis to ensure the effectiveness of the PM / PdM system.
  • Provide administration, control, and analysis of all data, records, and equipment histories to continually review and refine PM frequencies.
  • Development and refinement of the preventive/predictive maintenance program in a systematic manner.
  • Act as the Reliability representative on the new equipment installation and equipment modifications to ensure that full life cycle costing, reliability and maintainability are considered as part of the design.
  • Participate in equipment and building designs as needed.
  • Provide guidance in suggesting reliability-based tools such as vibration monitoring equipment, thermo imaging analysis, constant temperature monitoring, lubrication schedules and application points, etc.
  • Provide direction and guidance in setting up safety evaluations/systems such as LOTO, Confined Space, combustible dust considerations, etc.
  • Work through applying tools that provide visual management such as labeling, special lighting, shelving, special tools, pathways, etc. as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree (preferably in an engineering discipline)
  • Ability to communicate efficiently both written and orally
  • Certification as a CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) and/or experience with SAP are a plus
  • Individual should be a logical thinker and have good documentation skills.

Salary will be in the $100-115k range plus bonus.
