Reliability EngineerSalary: ConfidentialLocation: Ashland, VirginiaMinimum Degree: Bachelors degree in engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeRelocation Assistance: AvailableResponsibilitiesDefine standard processes and tools to handle defects and ensure proper execution to improve equipment reliability and performanceLead Breakdown Elimination efforts through structured problem-solvingPartner with operators to ensure defects are resolved and breakdowns are preventedDetermine and prioritize planned maintenance needs, scheduling accordinglyShare best practices across Reliability Leads to foster continuous improvementMaintain strong communication with the maintenance department to align prioritiesContinuously improve maintenance processes including Defect Handling and Breakdown EliminationReduce negative impacts on machine reliability through proactive strategiesQualificationsMinimum 3 years experience in maintenance, reliability, or engineering in a fast-paced manufacturing settingProven background in electrical systems reliability, including motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and power distribution.Experience in the paper industry highly desirable, especially with pulping equipment and processesPassion for leading and collaborating with teams to achieve goalsExpertise in maintenance processes within a manufacturing environmentExperience in mechanical or design engineering paper mill experience is idealStrong critical thinking and analytical skills for fast-paced problem solvingAbility to navigate complex situations with creativity and structureExcellent organizational and prioritization abilitiesFamiliarity with Lean Production System principleWhy is This a Great OpportunityWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Reliability Engineer in the North Richmond, Virginia area!
