Arconic is currently searching for a Reliability Engineer to join our Tennessee Operations in Alcoa, TN.

The objective of the role is to work across the Plant and with Arconic’s corporate group to establish and implement equipment reliability systems and disciplines within a “Reliability Excellence” (REX) program, including maintenance work planning, asset elimination, lubrication excellence, and condition-based monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Proactively follow and set example in complying with EHS rules, regulations, and practices.
- Identify hazards, report, and participate in actions to mitigate.
- Accountable for the development and implementation of a reliability system that improves equipment reliability.
- Interface with area maintenance to ensure common practices are utilized and established plant-wide.
- Participate and lead projects to improve equipment or process performance, working closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams.
- Actively attend departmental daily management and maintenance meetings as required.
- Identify and share best practices in equipment reliability and maintenance.
- Train engineers and maintenance staff; present and report to management.
- Develop equipment/asset hierarchies.
- Conduct criticality analysis and risk prioritization for assets.
- Perform RCM/FMEA on critical assets.
- Develop equipment maintenance plans.
- Assist and coach users on correct use of CMMS and work management processes.
- Engage in establishing a lubrication excellence system with production center engineers and maintenance staff.
- Engage in identifying, procuring, and implementing condition-based monitoring and predictive technologies.
- Participate and lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of failures.
- Define, improve, and run queries and reports to support continuous improvement in equipment performance.
- Provide data, update, and prepare reports for leaders as required.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience within maintenance, engineering, or reliability functions.
- Experience in improvement projects, both as an individual contributor and as a project leader.
- Strong data analytics skills, including data collection, summarization, analysis, and presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in team environments and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of personnel.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMRP certification.
- More than 5 years of experience in maintenance or reliability functions.
- Specialty expertise in PM optimization, CMMS development or training, CBM use and installation, lubrication methods and practices.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma improvement projects.
