- 10+ years of experience successfully managing projects, products, programs, or releases in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience with SDLC, release management, project delivery, and product delivery
- Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proven experience leading teams, managing a project management function, or overseeing release/project managers and scrum masters
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Job Description:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Manager of Release Management to join their Technical Product Operations organization. This person will play a key role in shaping technology strategy, overseeing release management processes, and driving the successful delivery of software products, projects, and product capabilities. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and tactical, with the ability to lead through influence, create structure, and ensure delivery teams are aligned to business needs, customer requests, and product roadmaps. This role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects and products using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as needed. They will own governance, controls, risk mitigation, status reporting, executive updates, metrics, retrospectives, and continuous improvement of the release management process.
Compensation:
$60/hr to $70/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
