A leading gaming company is hiring a Release Manager II to support a dynamic game development team. This temp role is based in Los Angeles and focuses on optimizing game release processes. Our client creates innovative character-based tactical shooters enjoyed worldwide.
Release Manager II Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the game release and deployment processes to ensure a seamless experience for players.
- Manage daily operations of the release pipeline, adhering to established procedures to ensure stability and readiness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth and timely releases.
- Assist teams in following release best practices, escalating potential risks impacting users.
- Support improvements to delivery tools and processes, monitoring pipelines and resolving issues effectively.
Release Manager II Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Release Management, QA, Live Operations, or related roles within PC software or live service environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Datadog, and JIRA.
- Proven ability to follow release procedures reliably in a live service setting.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with the capacity to elevate issues appropriately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
