We are seeking an experienced IT Release Manager to support a strategic cybersecurity remediation initiative for our direct client in financial domain.
This role is ideal for someone with strong IT Change Management and Release Governance experience who can take ownership of the end-to-end change process, coordinate multiple technical teams, and ensure production changes are implemented in a controlled, secure, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate the end-to-end IT change and release management process.
- Plan, schedule, and govern releases across multiple technical teams and workstreams.
- Manage change approvals, risk assessments, release readiness, deployment plans, and rollback procedures.
- Coordinate with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Network, Application, and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with change controls, audit requirements, and regulatory commitments.
- Manage release calendars, dependencies, stakeholder communications, and go/no-go decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT Change Management, Release Management, and release governance.
- Prior experience working in a highly regulated industry; financial services or banking experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end change processes, beyond traditional project management.
- Strong coordination, organizational, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW), JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft Office 365, and MS Teams.
Preferred Experience
- Cybersecurity remediation, infrastructure security, network segmentation, firewall changes, or security control initiatives.
- Experience coordinating complex production changes across multiple teams.
