Role Overview :
We are seeking a Techno-Business Release Manager to lead and govern release cycles for a
large-scale Conversational AI (chatbot/virtual agent) deployment in a BFSI environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own end-to-end release management lifecycle across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production
- Serve as the primary interface between client (business + IT) and internal delivery teams for all release-related activities
- Align release plans with business goals, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value
- Define and manage release calendars, deployment schedules, cutover and failover strategies
- Translate business requirements and priorities into release scope and sequencing
- Drive go-live readiness reviews including sign-offs, risk assessments, and compliance approvals
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (including multi-vendor teams) for release execution
- Ensure adherence to BFSI change management, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Manage production deployments, including validation, monitoring, and post production bug fixes
- Track and report release KPIs: deployment success rate, defect leakage, rollback frequency, business impact
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and release conflicts proactively
- Maintain release documentation, audit trails, and governance reports
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 6–10 years of experience in release management or program delivery in enterprise environments
- Proven experience in client-facing roles within BFSI or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of both technical deployment processes and business operations
Skills & Experience
- Release and change management tools - Monday.com, Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps
- Environment and dependency management across distributed systems
- Agile/Scrum and enterprise release governance frameworks
- Large-scale BFSI production releases with integration-heavy systems (APIs, middleware, core banking)
- Cutover planning, rollback strategies, and hypercare execution
- UAT coordination and go-live approvals with business stakeholders
- Security, audit, and data privacy compliance in regulated environments
