Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in release management.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git, and Confluence.
- Microservices, front‑end and back‑end knowledge.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and technology.
- Experience working with multiple systems/teams.
- Self‑motivated.
Preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Release Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage release schedules, identify dependencies and risks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless release execution.
- Align release plans with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Release Execution
- Lead deployment activities across production and non‑production environments.
- Ensure all changes meet quality, compliance, and security standards.
- Conduct release readiness assessments and provide post‑release support.
Process Optimization
- Continuously improve release processes and workflows.
- Promote best practices in CI/CD, automation, and DevOps.
- Maintain documentation for release policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
- Develop and implement rollback strategies for failed deployments.
Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for release‑related matters.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on release status and challenges.
- Facilitate post‑release reviews to assess performance and drive improvements.
