Release Management provides structure around continuous delivery for our development and QA teams as well as all dependent teams needed to successfully deliver upon commitments.Job DescriptionThis role is accountable for the Release Management lifecycle which includes planning, scheduling, coordinating and the management of software release readiness as well as identifying areas for improved delivery and measurement across domains in the Coca-Cola Freestyle Commercial Software team from planning, development and through to quality assurance. The releases can be inclusive of software and embedded updates.Function Related Activities:Designing streamlined processes and improvements within the organizationCoordinate with key stakeholders across the organization during all phases of the release including requirement reviews, prioritization, estimation, capacity planning and deliveryProvides subject matter expertise across Agile development methodologies and tool setsLeverages the Freestyle tool stack to communicate release details and project manage all phases of release activities and ceremoniesCollaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify process gaps and implement process improvementsManages risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and qualityMaintains the release schedule for all core services and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors.Gather and analyze metrics on each releaseOrganizes and runs meetings for defects as well as team release meetingsPerforms light administration of Jira projects, Confluence wiki, and GitHubWorks with Scrum Master and Product Owner to ensure team alignmentContinually work towards making improvements in the release processEducationBachelor’s Degree required, and Masters preferredRelated Work ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in large-scale technology, software development and customer operations.
