Rejection and Denial Specialist

To manage denied eligibility claims for various payers and states, the remote Rejection and Denial Specialist will analyze patient insurance, identify billing errors, and assist with training staff while ensuring compliance with departmental policies. Key responsibilities Analyze patient insurance to ensure correct plan selection and document steps for timely account resolution Identify and resolve billing and charge correction errors by researching and contacting relevant parties Assist with training new and existing staff members while optimizing the efficiency of the eligibility team Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certification required 3+ years of experience with eligibility-related knowledge Strong working knowledge of billing procedures and insurance reimbursement guidelines, preferably in a medical or anesthesia setting Exceptional organization and time management skills Ability to ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain HIPAA compliance
