Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and other external partners
- Support technical accounting matters, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives
- Monitor internal controls and improve accounting processes and procedures
- Partner with business stakeholders on financial analysis, reporting, and operational initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Assist with cash management, xhqgsiq treasury activities, and liquidity reporting
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to scale
Qualifications
- CPA required
- 10+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience
- Prior experience within a REIT is required
- Experience managing or mentoring accounting professionals
- Experience with SEC reporting
