Location: NYC
Role: Controller (Working w/CFO)
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage loan, debt, and JV partner accounting for an open-ended REIT
- Oversee accounts payable, cash positions, and partner distributions
- Technical accounting research and application, including but not limited to loan accounting, consolidation, and VIE analysis
- Oversee and maintain accounting ledgers, loan tape, and bank reconciliations
- Manage the year-end audit process
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7-12+ years of experience within real estate/public accounting
- GAAP and SEC reporting experience
- Yardi/MRI experience a plus
- CPA Preferred
