Key responsibilities Lead the evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and placement of reinsurance solutions to optimize risk transfer Oversee the management of captive insurance entities and intercompany reinsurance arrangements to enhance capital efficiency Serve as the primary liaison with insurance regulators and manage audit examinations related to reinsurance and capital adequacy Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in reinsurance, capital management, or corporate finance with a proven transaction history Hands-on experience with captive insurance entities and intercompany reinsurance transactions Thorough understanding of statutory accounting principles and Risk-Based Capital (RBC) mechanics Demonstrated ability to engage with state insurance regulators and manage financial examinations Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
