Supporting the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of reinsurance companies, the full-time remote Reinsurance Accountant will prepare financial statements, record accounting activities, and manage tax compliance and regulatory filings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for approximately 50 reinsurance companies Record and analyze accounting activities including cash transactions, accruals, reconciliations, and investments Prepare and analyze tax returns and supporting schedules for assigned reinsurance entities Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting, finance, financial analysis, or program analysis experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience interpreting financial data and performing account reconciliations Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices
