To support the Patient Revenue Management Organization, the remote Reimbursement Specialist - NC Licensed will analyze departmental reports, ensure accurate billing compliance, and coordinate projects to enhance revenue cycle efficiency while residing in North Carolina. Key responsibilities: Analyze and provide feedback on departmental performance reports to identify trends and make recommendations Utilize clinical and coding knowledge to ensure billing accuracy and resolve inconsistencies Coordinate communication between insurance companies, governmental agencies, and internal staff to improve revenue cycle processes Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Four years of related experience in healthcare, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field as a substitute for experience Knowledge of revenue cycle management and billing processes Experience in analyzing financial data and reporting trends Ability to develop and provide training to new and existing employees
