Physical Therapist (PT)

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. The role will involve providing a mix of inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient therapy services. As an integral part of our team, the Physical Therapist will also supervise and support Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop customized treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor PTA staff to ensure quality care and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and progress to encourage their participation in therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively across different caseloads.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist License in Arkansas.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a smaller team.
• Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems is essential.
• Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings is preferred.
• Comfort in floating between inpatient and outpatient caseloads is a plus.
• Truebridge/CPSI EMR experience is highly preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday. It is an excellent opportunity for a flexible therapist who enjoys working in various settings while contributing to a collaborative rehabilitation team.
