- Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility
- Promote Legacy policies, clinical programs, and the mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives
- Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees
- Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings to community leaders
- Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget
- Maintain a caseload to assist the rehab department in meeting standards
- Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for facility census
- Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines
- Coordinate the rehab department daily with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming
- Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer
- Manage staff schedules and use scheduling tools for patient schedules
- Manage CliniFax and physician signatures on therapy plans of care
- Maintain team relationships and open communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel
- Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards
Requirements
- Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologies (SLP)
- Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living
- Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP)
- Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned
