This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-impact regulatory disputes and litigation while developing deep expertise in health care law.Responsibilities:Handle complex health care regulatory litigation and administrative disputesChallenge agency actions, including matters arising under the Administrative Procedure ActManage Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement disputes and administrative appealsAssist with government audits and investigationsSupport False Claims Act defense and other fraud and abuse mattersDraft substantive briefs, motions, appeals, and other legal filingsParticipate in administrative, trial, and appellate proceedingsAdvise hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, and other health care providersWork on significant regulatory and reimbursement matters with potential nationwide impactQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school2-4 years of relevant legal experienceStrong litigation, research, analytical, and legal writing skillsExcellent academic credentials and meticulous attention to detailDemonstrated interest in health care law, regulation, and policyInterest in sophisticated administrative and appellate litigationExperience with or interest in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, APA litigation, government investigations, False Claims Act defense, or health care regulatory disputesAppropriate bar admission for the applicable office/locationCompensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $220,000-$310,000, based on experience and qualificationsDiscretionary bonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits packageFlexible remote work arrangementsDirect access to experienced attorneys and meaningful client responsibilityStrong opportunities for professional development and specialization in health care law
