A diverse workforce, combined with an inclusive culture, makes USPI stronger and better able to meet the needs of our diverse patient and physician population.Position Responsibilities:The Registration Representative interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staffAdmits patients and process their paperworkUpdates patient demographics/information in systemCollects monies due and document in the billing systemHandles funds per office procedureAnswers incoming phone calls.Required Skills:High school graduate or equivalent.One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.Medical terminology and computer experience beneficialBilingual preferred.Good communication skills.
