Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - URGENT BACKFILL
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay: $55-$58/hr

Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an urgent backfill position in a hospital acute care setting. The therapist will provide respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to adults , including acutely ill patients with a wide variety of medical conditions.
The ideal candidate must have pediatric experience and be comfortable managing critical respiratory cases in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders
• Manage ventilators and advanced airway equipment
• Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations
• Administer respiratory medications and therapies
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control standards
Requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• NBRC Certification - Required
• Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure & Supervision (Respiratory Care) - Required
• Minimum 6 months of recent Respiratory Therapy experience - Required
• Pediatric experience - Required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS - Required
• NRP Certification - Required
• Experience with Cerner charting - Highly Desired

• Acutely ill patients with diverse respiratory and medical conditions
Ideal Candidate
• Strong critical care and ventilator management skills
• Comfortable working night shifts
• Experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
