Work hours: PRN- Open to days and nights. Most availability will be within nights.

Here's What You Need

n
• n

  Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program is required

  n
n
• n

  1 Year Med/Surg or critical care experience preferred is preferred

  n
n
• n

  3 years of RRT Experience is strongly preferred

  n
n
• n

  RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner Upon Hire is required And

  n
n
• n

  RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire is required And

  n
n
• n

  BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required And

  n
n
• n

  ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days is required And

  n
n
• n

  NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required

  n
n
• n

  Good verbal communications, good interpersonal skills, computer experience

  n
n

What You Will Do

• n

  Obtains/verifies physician order for therapy and validate for appropriateness.

  n

• n

  Demonstrates competence in the performance of age-appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age specific needs. 35%

  Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.

• n

  Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license.

• n

  Administers medication in a safe/correct manner, adhering to medication administration guidelines. Reports unsafe conditions and equipment in

  proper/timely manner.
