Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services for pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, ED, and inpatient care areas.
- Perform respiratory assessments, ventilator management, airway care, and therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR while adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.
- Float between assigned units as needed while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.
- Active Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required.
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience with extensive PICU, NICU, and ED experience required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
- Level I Trauma experience highly preferred.
- Must be available for 12-hour night shifts , every other weekend, floating assignments, and comply with the mandatory flu vaccination policy.
