Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Utilizing radiographic and CT protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images for examination by physicians
- Collaborating with radiologists and the entire care team to guarantee accurate diagnoses
- Positioning patients accurately and calibrating imaging equipment for optimal results
- Adhering to essential radiation safety measures for patient and staff well-being
- Keeping precise records of imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Providing empathetic and patient-centered care throughout each imaging process
- Ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Competence in diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Adept at adapting in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-oriented approach combined with a robust sense of accountability
- Comfort with technology, including PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
