Registered Nurse Weekend Program - Emergency Department

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates

Full-Time 11a - 11p

25% Weekend Differential

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.

  • Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.

  • Follows the professional standards of care.

Requirements

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

  • Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within three years of hire.

  • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.

  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within two years of hire.

  • Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.
