Registered Nurse Weekend Program - Emergency Department
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates
Full-Time 11a - 11p
25% Weekend Differential
The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
Follows the professional standards of care.
Requirements
Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within three years of hire.
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within two years of hire.
Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.
