Position Summary/ Department Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within our Boston Children’s Hospital Waltham Location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recovering pediatric patients from surgery.
- Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment, with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.
- Performing developmental/age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventions.
- Working 4 – 8-hour shifts per week, including short call and overnight call.
Education:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- 2 years of inpatient Boston Children’s Hospital RN experience or other pediatric inpatient experience.
- PACU/Critical care experience is strongly preferred.
- PALS Certification is strongly preferred.
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
