Registered Nurse - Unit Manager

Position: Registered Nurse - RN Unit Manager
Role Summary: Responsible for supervising nursing staff, managing resident care, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Duties include accurately recording medical histories, monitoring vital signs, observing treatment progress, administering medications and injections, collecting lab samples, and providing emotional support. Communicates with residents' families, offers comfort, and delivers quality geriatric care in a supportive environment.
Qualifications & Skills

• Current NY RN license and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in LTC/Rehab setting
• At least 1 year of nursing supervisory experience
• Knowledge of MDS 3.0, DOH/CMS regulations, and EHR systems
• Strong management, communication, and attention to detail skills
  

Additional Requirements: Associates degree in Nursing or higher, with preferred experience in team collaboration and making a positive impact. Motivated by peer recognition, job security, and contributing to organizational success.
