Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Vivo Healthcare Harbourwood, a leading provider of post-acute and rehabilitation care in Clearwater, FL. As a Registered Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to a diverse population of patients, including long‑term care, rehabilitation, and post‑acute care patients
- Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review process to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, staff performance, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida
- At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of experience in a unit management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent patient assessment, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
