Registered Nurse Triage (Remote)

To support patient access and care, the part-time Registered Nurse Triage (Remote) will assess patient needs telephonically, determine appropriate care levels, and provide education and follow-up instructions while collaborating with healthcare providers. Key responsibilities: Utilizes established protocols to assess patient needs and determine the appropriate level of care Prioritizes patient interactions based on acuity and applies evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety Maintains accurate clinical records and communicates patient information to the healthcare team effectively Required qualifications: Registered Nurse license in the state of practice Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, preferably in ED or Urgent Care Experience with electronic medical records and documentation techniques Ability to work every fourth weekend and holiday rotation
