Registered Nurse Traveler Med Surg Urology Oncology

This is a 14‑week (36 hours per week) nighttime nursing travel assignment as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Surgical, Oncology, and Urology units at Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent RN bedside experience in an acute care medical/surgical setting
• EPIC user experience
• Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
• RN license valid to work in the State of North Carolina (or as required by state)
• Education: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients, monitor vital signs, and perform rounding checks
• Administer medications and provide wound care as needed
• Communicate with patients and family members regarding treatment plans and progress
• Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care across all assigned units
• Adhere to the nursing process and uphold professional standards of care, ethics, and documentation
