Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location: Worcester, MA
Rate: Up to $ Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4 Shifts/Week)
Contract: 13 or 26-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Hours: 48 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry or Medical Surgical experience required
- Active MA RN license required
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Epic charting experience required
Certifications
- AHA BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for adult telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Care for orthopedic, trauma surgery, and transplant overflow patients
- Manage patients requiring chest tubes, epidurals, PCA pumps, and advanced monitoring
- Perform assessments, medication administration, and ongoing patient care
- Manage IV therapy, central lines, PICC lines, blood products, and oxygen therapy
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
