Duties Include:
- Must be an RN with valid license
- Develop and implement infection control protocol
- Supervise isolation precautions and practices
- Plan and implement organized in-service, orientation, and training programs
- Interpret infection control policies and procedures as necessary
- Make rounds with physicians as necessary
- monitor medication passes and treatments to assure that proper techniques are being followed
- Provide training and in-service support for nursing assistants in their role functions
- Must be knowledgeable of federal, state, and company guidelines
