Responsibilities

The RN will:

• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, complete vital signs and specimen collection.
• Support medical/surgical consultations, document clinical findings, and monitor patients during unit routines and therapeutic activities.
• Provide pre‑/post‑procedure care, prepare patients for internal and external referrals, and maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies, apply crisis‑intervention skills, and participate in alarms and disaster plans.
• Maintain competency in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for high‑risk procedures such as Electroconvulsive Therapy.
• Operate specialty clinic equipment such as pulmonary function devices, autorefractors, audiometric devices, bladder scanners, EKG/Holter monitors, centrifuges, microscopes, CPAP/BiPAP units, nebulizers, IV pumps, and other clinic tools.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑control standards, maintain a clean and safe environment, demonstrate cultural humility, protect confidential information, and uphold professional boundaries.

Qualifications
